Can you name a suffragette?

I have decided that for this term's project, that I will be working with the Glasgow Women's Library on their project remembering Scottish suffragettes and women of colour within the movement.

I think this project could really push my animation and film-making abilities as well as my knowledge on the suffragette movement in general. They were an amazing group of strong, resourcful and independent women and learning more about them, their struggles and their own personal histories sounds very interesting to me.

I already have lots of ideas and concepts from the brief alone, but once I get into the specific details and am given the woman I will be working with, I think that is when things will really get interesting. I will continue to research and explore the materials I have been given and possibly create a mind-map to gather my thoughts and get down on paper what I actually know about th movement.
