I have begun the massive task of researching every aspect of the event that led to my Grandad ditching his plane into the sea. There is a lot that he mentioned in his books that I understand, but there is also so muuch that just leaves me with questions and no answers. Sadly, I can't ask my Grandad as he passed away several years ago. This august would have been his 95th birthday.

I want to make sure that this film honors his memory and the memories of his fellow crewmates.
