Character Designs - Roughs

I have started the first drafts of the characters designs, I have a couple of photos to go on for John, Bill and Fred.

These are what I have come up so far.

First up is my Grandad, John. He is being surprisingly difficult to draw atm. I never knew my Grandad when he was young so I have no refernces in my mind of what he looked like. but my older brother looks very much like him at his age.

Next up is Bill, he has a boxy head shape and is a lot of fun to draw.

Next is Fred, I really like the design I came up with for him, he looks quite good I think.

Finally, my concept for Johnny was to have a black scribble take over his body as he becomes closer to death and less of an active character in the film.
