Creating my own watercolour textures?

I have been thinking a lot lately about how to connect the digital aspect of my film - being the watercolour backgrounds and scenes made with photoshop and the scenes done with charcoal and oil. I think by hand making some watercolour brushes and textures could bridge that gap.

Mike mentioned this to me last week and I have been thinking about it ever since. I will add it to my to do list and hopefully i will be able to add in some static brushes and make my own brush set on Photoshop, but then also create some video clips to add in as well. This could be the watercolour colours or be created with inks that I have.
