Designing new backgrounds

This week I need to start designing some new backgrounds for the film. There are several scenes where new designs are needed, such as new cloud paintings for the sky shot and designing a solid background for the digital design shots, the one I current have is too jarring and doesn't look cohesive with the rest of the film. Now that I am starting to edit some of the scenes together the difference in the two techniques is more different than I originally thought.

I think with a lot of work that I can pull it off in the edit but I need to speed up and work hard to do it.
